There are four main layouts for your dartboard: list, board, calendar and roadmap. Each can be customized to help you filter and sort. Start by choosing your layout at the top right-hand corner of your dartboard screen:
Note that, no matter which layout you choose, Title and Status will always be visible by default.
To filter across any layout, choose the icon with the three horizontal lines from the top right-hand corner of the page. Once you click on it, you will also see the icon appear on the left, above your tasks and beside your Assignee and Status buttons:
List layout
To filter your tasks in various ways, choose a variety of options from the drop-down filter menu:
For example, you can filter by one or many variables, such as Assignee and Status:
Add multiple filters to zero-in on specific tasks. Even if you change layouts (from list to board, etc.), your filters will remain, unless you decide to adjust them.
In List layout, you can sort by Title, Priority, and Status in either ascending or descending order:
You can also adjust how your dartboard looks and feels to make visualizing your project easier.
From your dropdown menu, with List layout chosen, you'll have a number of different options to adjust your dartboard:
You can choose to adjust how your subtasks appear by choosing flat, indented, or collapsed views:
You can also choose to group your List layout in various ways (Created by, Last updated, Type, or Status):
You can see various properties at a glance by choosing Properties from the drop-down menu. Note that Title and Status will remain visible by default:
Finally, you can set your property defaults for any created task:
Board layout
Board layout defaults by showing you task status (To-do, Doing, In review, etc.):
However, you can also sort by Tags, or, for example, by Status:
Like List layout, you can choose filters to zero-in on specific tasks by choosing the filter icon from the top right and then choosing filter options from the icons above your Board layout:
You can also sort via Title and Status, ordering tasks in ascending or descending orders:
Once you have filtered or sorted your board layout, a Reset button will appear on the top right. You can Reset your filter and sort options at any time and begin filtering and sorting from scratch:
Calendar layout
Calendar layout also offers filtering and sorting options that are available on both List and Board layouts:
Like List and Board layouts, you can sort tasks. In Calendar layout, you can sort by Title and Status in ascending or descending order:
You can view your dart board by week, month, or year by choosing your preferred option from the drop-down menu at the top right of your calendar:
To make it easier to visualize status, the Calendar layout allows you to color different task phases. To color by task status, click on the calendar drop-down menu at the top right, and choose color by > status:
Roadmap layout
Roadmap layout is similar to a traditional Gantt Chart. In this layout, your dartboard will allow you to filter by everything from priority to due date:
You can also adjust the appearance of subtasks (indented, collapsed, flat):
And you can color tasks by priority, type, or status:
Changing Layouts With Filters and Sorting
When you add filters or sort your dart board, you can change layouts and your filters and sorting preferences will stay in place. You can reset your filters and sorting preferences by hitting the Reset button.
