If you need to link items like documents or tasks to another task, you can do so in Dart.
Linking one task to another
To start, open a task you want to link. Then, go to the top right of the task and click on the link icon to copy the task link. Finally, go to the task you want to link to and cut and paste it into either the comment or description section of the task:
You can also go to the "more" icon at the top of a task and choose "connect a task, doc, and more"
From here you have the option to:
Reference another task (to link them together)
Linking a document to a task
Linking documents works basically the same way. To link a document to a task, first go to the document, grab the link, and then go to the task, and paste the link into its description or comment section:
You can also go to the "more" icon at the top of the task screen and click "Connect a task, doc, and more" and then choose to:
Connect a doc
Connect a Notion page
You can also link to other attachments outside of Dart by clicking on:
More > Connect a task, doc, and more > Add attachment
Connecting links from outside of Dart
Dart allows you to add outside links as well, for example, to other websites.
To do this, open the task you want to link items to, go to:
More > Connect a task, doc, and more > Add link
Or, type in the shortcut Command + L (on Mac) or ctrl + L (on PC):
