Describe your task, or get Dart AI to help you with slash commands

Tasks can have descriptions that can be as simple or as detailed as you like. You can add a description at the outset, when you create a new task, or add it later. You can also use Dart AI to help with the process.

Creating a description manually

To create your own task description, simply create a new task, or open an existing task, and start writing in the description section of the task window:

You can also enlist the help of Dart AI to write task descriptions.

To get started, create a new task or open an existing task. Then enter the slash command to reveal your options:

You'll have the option to:

  • Brainstorm methods

  • Break into subtasks

  • Write a description

Dart AI will advise according to the task title:

After reviewing Dart's suggestions, you can choose to discard or keep the work. You can also choose to edit it.

You can continue to refine your description with slash commands as well. Once you have a description, use the slash command to:

  • Continue Writing

  • Extract action Items

  • Improve Description

  • Simplify description

  • Translate (into other languages)

  • Etc.

Hiding and revealing descriptions

You can hide or reveal your description by clicking on "Description" in your task:
