How the size property measures tasks
Sizes add up inside of subtasks. For example, if you have two subtasks of a main task, one with a size of "1" and another with a size of "2" then the parent will by default show size "3" - although you can also add more directly.
Showing size on dartboards
To see the size of your tasks on your dartboards (in list, board, and roadmap layouts; the calendar layout does not show size, although you would be able to click on individual tasks to see sizing once you set that as a defaut), choose the layout dropdown menu from the top right of your screen and then click the "+" to add the size property:
Once you have set your size as a default, in list and roadmap layouts, you will be able to change the size by hovering over the size column in the desired task you want to adjust:
Showing size by default on individual tasks
You can also show size by default on individual tasks. To do so, go to:
Settings > Properties > Size
From here, you will be able to toggle this property "on" so it is visible in each individual task. You can also choose from different size formats, including T-shirt, Fibonacci, Exponential, Linear, or Free:
Once set as a default, you will be able to see your task's size below the task title in the task window:
