Prerequisites
A Dart account with access to the project or tasks you want to use as triggers.
A Google account with access to Google Sheets.
A Zapier account (free or paid, depending on your needs).
A Google Sheet set up with headers for the data you want to sync from Dart.
Log in to Zapier
Go to Zapier and sign in to your account.
If you don’t have an account, click Sign Up to create one.
Create a New Zap
In the Zapier dashboard, click Create > Zap (or the orange + Create Zap button).
Name your Zap in the top-left corner for easy reference (e.g., "Dart Task to Google Sheets").
Set Up Dart as the Trigger
In the Trigger step, search for and select Dart.
Choose a trigger event from the available options, such as:
New Task: Triggers when a new task is added in Dart.
Updated Task: Triggers when an existing task is updated.
Task Completed: Triggers when a task is marked as complete.
Click Continue.
Connect Your Dart Account
Click Sign in next to Dart.
A pop-up window will prompt you to log in to your Dart account.
Enter your Dart credentials or API key (if required) and grant Zapier permission to access your Dart account.
Once connected, click Continue
Add a filter step
Press the plus button below your Dart trigger and create a new Filter Step by choosing Filter in the menu selection.
Copy the values of this screenshot into your filter step.
Add Google Spreadsheet as an action step
Press the plus button below the filter step that you just made and add Google Spreadsheets as the action step.
Choose Lookup Spreadsheet Row as the action event and connect your Google account.
Copy these values in the Configure Step. However choose your own values based on your Google account in the selection in green. Choose the spreadsheet and worksheet that you would want to push data into.
Add another Spreadsheet action step
Press the plus button below the filter step that you just made and add Google Spreadsheets as the action step.
Choose Create Spreadsheet Row as the action event.
Copy these values in the Configure Step. However choose your own values based on your Google account in the selection in green. Choose the spreadsheet and worksheet that you would want to push data into.
Test and Publish Your Zap
Click Test Action to send a test row to your Google Sheet using the Dart sample data.
Check your Google Sheet to confirm the data appears correctly.
If the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.
Your Zap will now run automatically whenever the Dart trigger event occurs, syncing data to your Google Sheet.
