How to set up recurring tasks in Dart

Recurring tasks are a game-changer for productivity and organization. They help automate routine workflows, reduce manual effort, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. By setting up recurring tasks, you can maintain consistency, save time, and focus more on high-impact work.

  1. Show the due date property

    1. First, ensure that the due date property is shown in your chosen dartboard by navigating to the top right corner of your dartboard and clicking the button marked in green in the screenshot below.

    2. Show the due date property by clicking the Due date property marked in blue below.

  1. Create a template task
    Build your template task with all necessary details, including:

    • Subtasks

    • Descriptions

    • Any additional information

  2. Set the repetition schedule

    • In the task that you want to recur

    • Click 'Set repetition' at the bottom of the date menu.

    • Choose your preferred cadence: daily, weekdays only, weekly, monthly, etc.

  3. Automate your workflow
    Dart will automatically generate a new copy of this template task based on the schedule you set, keeping your workflow organized and consistent.
